A choral concert of six NYU vocal ensembles, orchestra concerts featuring Bizet and Brahms, and an anniversary tribute to Russian pianist Sergei Prokofiev are among the events running during the month of December, presented by the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions at the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.

NYU Symphony

In addition, NYU Percussion Ensemble will present a dynamic program of masterworks on Monday, Dec. 5, including Steve Reich’s Tehillim and Alberto Ginastera’s Cantata para America Magica.
