An informative dialogue sponsored by NYU Wagner will feature two senior former government officials going toe-to-toe, and will be moderated by an international correspondent from NPR.
NYU Wagner and The Century Foundation will present a public debate showcasing thoughtful, informed dialogue between former senior government officials debating the proposition “There Should Be More U.S. Intervention in Syria.”

Another in a lively series called “Debates of the Century @NYU Wagner,” the discussion features Robert Ford, former U.S. ambassador to Syria, and senior fellow at the Middle East Institute, and Derek Chollet, counselor and senior advisor for security and defense policy, The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF), and former U.S. assistant secretary of defense for international security affairs.
Deborah Amos, NPR international correspondent covering the Middle East, will be the moderator.
