Design Show 2015 features the work of 18 artists and is publicly viewable from noon till 8 p.m. daily. The show is installed in the 3rd floor Design Studio at the Tisch School of the Arts, located at 721 Broadway (btw. The designers are all members of the 2015 graduating class and have completed the three-year MFA program. Students learn from some of the most respected and prolific names in stage and film design, including department chair and Tony award-winning costume designer Susan Hilferty (“Wicked,” Metropolitan Opera’s “Rigoletto,”), associate chair and lighting designer Mary Louise Geiger (2013 Helen Hayes Award Outstanding Lighting Design “Invisible Man”) and internationally renowned set designer Paul Steinberg (English National Opera, Covent Garden, Glyndebourne Festival and Metropolitan Opera’s recent “Un Ballo in Maschera”).
