As the 40th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War and the 50th anniversary of U.S escalation and anti-war protest arrives, New York University’s DC Academic Center will host a three-day conference, April 29-May 1, that will explore misconduct during the war and its impacts in Vietnam, diplomacy, the anti-war movement, and lessons for U.S. foreign policy.

Panelists will include: Susan Berresford of the Aspen Institute’s U.S.-Vietnam Dialogue Series on Agent Orange, Jessica Chapman, associate professor of history, Williams College, and David Cortright, associate director of programs and policy studies, Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, University of Notre Dame, and many others.
