Those admitted during the regular decision process now have until May 1 to confirm their intent to enroll.

Students were admitted from all 50 states and a record-breaking 139 countries. Next fall’s freshman class in New York City will total approximately 5,600, while roughly 310 and 300 will arrive at NYU Abu Dhabi and NYU Shanghai respectively. An additional 250 or so are expected to begin their freshman year studying away at one NYU's global academic centers in Florence, London, Paris, and for the first time ever, Washington, DC.

Between 15-20% of NYU's freshmen are expected to be the first generation in their families to receive a four-year college degree.
