Leading Entrepreneurs and Investors to Judge Bitcoin Apps at NYU Hackathon

The NYU Entrepreneurial Institute this weekend will host HackBit--NYU’s first cryptocurrency-themed hackathon at the recently opened Leslie eLab, 16 Washington Place, New York City—and the event is open to the media.

Students from NYU and many other East Coast universities—including Columbia, CUNY, Rutgers, Yale, Stony Brook, among others—will attend workshops and lectures, and work together to develop apps related to Bitcoin and the future of digital finance. At the conclusion of the hackathon, a panel of well-known entrepreneurs and investors will judge the students’ apps and prizes will be awarded.

HackBit is co-sponsored by Bloomberg LP, Chain and Blockchain.
