NYU Alumni made a strong showing when the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced its nominations for the 86th Annual Academy Awards on January 16. NYU graduates from the Tisch School of the Arts, the Gallatin School of Individualized Study, the College of Arts and Science and the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development received a total of 10 nominations for Hollywood’s highest film honors.

NYU Alums Honored with Oscar Nods

The Academy awards for outstanding film achievements of 2013 will be presented Sunday, March 2 at 7 p.m. EDT in a ceremony hosted by Ellen DeGeneres.
