Steinman has curated the award-winning ALOUD at Central Library series for the Los Angeles Public Library for the past 15 years and is also co-director of the Los Angeles Institute of the Humanities at USC.

CD launch of “Lucky These Days” by poet Barry Wallenstein, who will be accompanied by Ken Filiano on bass. Wallenstein’s poems first appeared in 1964 and since then he has published seven collections; “Drastic Dislocations: New and Selected Poems (2012) is the latest. In the early 1970's he began collaborating with jazz artists in the performance and recording of his poetry.
