In recent years, three of NYU’s health-care schools—the College of Nursing, College of Dentistry, and School of Medicine—have made major gains in rankings for federal research funding. According to statistics provided by the National Institutes of Health (the main source of federal funding for the medical and biomedical fields) the chart at left is a look at the evolution of NYU’s place among the leaders in research.
