Wendy Budin, PhD, RN-BC, and Maria Dolce, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE, have been elected by member votes to the 2010 Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS) leadership team. Dr. Budin has been elected to the Board of Directors position of member at large, and Dr. Dolce has been elected to the Organizational Development Committee. Both will be presenting their research at the society’s annual scientific sessions March 24–26, 2010.

Wendy Budin, PhD, RN-BC, and Maria Dolce, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE, have been elected by member votes to the 2010 Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS) leadership team. Dr. Budin has been elected to the Board of Directors position of member at large, and Dr. Dolce has been elected to the Organizational Development Committee.  Both will be presenting their research at the society’s annual scientific sessions March 24–26, 2010.

 The ENRS is a forum for nurse researchers to promote and support regional nursing research in the northeastern United States.  Dr. Dolce is a clinical assistant professor of nursing and program coordinator of the Nursing Education Master’s and Advanced Certificate Programs at NYU College of Nursing. Her research has focused on Internet technology and how it can change patients’ experience and perceptions, especially for those dealing with a cancer diagnoses.   Dr. Budin is director of nursing research at NYU Langone Medical Center and holds joint faculty appointments at the College of Nursing and School of Medicine.  Her research is focused on psychosocial adjustment to breast cancer in unmarried women.
