The Graduate Tax Program at New York University School of Law will present a discussion, “Checking Up on Health Care Tax Reform.” The discussion will provide an overview and critique of the tax and non-tax aspects of current health care legislative proposals, and will also discuss the fiscal implications of our current health care regime.

“Checking Up on Health Care Tax Reform” Will Be Topic of Discussion at NYU Law School on March 4

WHAT: The Graduate Tax Program at New York University School of Law will present a discussion, “Checking Up on Health Care Tax Reform.”  The discussion will provide an overview and critique of the tax and non-tax aspects of current health care legislative proposals, and will also discuss the fiscal implications of our current health care regime.

WHO: NYU Professor of Law and Public Policy Lily Batchelder will moderate the discussion, which will feature some of the nation’s leading experts on health care reform, including:

·         Professor Leonard Burman, Daniel Patrick Moynihan Chair in Public Affairs, Maxwell School of Syracuse University;

·         Professor Amy Monahan, University of Minnesota Law School;

·         Professor Sylvia Law, Elizabeth K. Dollard Professor of Law, Medicine and Psychiatry, NYU Law School
