The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards were given out by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) on Sunday (Jan. 17) at a ceremony in Los Angeles and four alumni of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts walked away with prizes.

The Golden Globe Award winners from the Tisch School are: Alec Baldwin ‘94 (BFA, Drama) Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical for 30 Rock; Michael C. Hall ‘96 (MFA, Acting) Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama for Dexter; Todd J. Phillips ‘94 (BFA, F&TV) Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical for The Hangover; and Martin Scorsese ‘64/’68/’92 Cecil B. DeMille Award.

Members of HFPA represent some 55 countries with a combined readership of more than 250 million. Their publications include leading newspapers and magazines in Europe, Asia, Australasia and Latin America. The Golden Globes recognize achievements in 25 categories; 14 in motion pictures and 11 in television.
