About SBE@Schack: The mission of the SBE@NYU Schack is to provide a multi-disciplinary platform to advance sustainable development research and practice in the real estate and construction industries. SBE@Schack approaches sustainability in real estate not just as a question of what is built, but where it is built, how it is built, and for whom it is built. SBE@Schack’s goal is to serve as a locus for new ideas on sustainable structures and cities by bridging theory and practice in the application of a triple-bottom-line approach to real estate decision-making. SBE@NYU Schack is the intersection point of the various academic disciplines, industries, public agencies, and non-profit organizations working toward a more sustainable built environment.
