February Leadership Training Program Announced by NICHE

NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders), announces the February 2011 Leadership Training Program (LTP). The LTP provides the means to train a team of staff and begin the process of becoming a leader in the care of older adults and a NICHE designated hospital. NYU's Patrick Egan, an assistant professor in the Wilf Family Department of Politics, will study public attitudes and prejudices toward LGBT issues as they relate to youth as part of a $730,000 grant from the Ford Foundation.
NYU Student Ensemble to Span Two Continents for Concert

Students from New York University’s Washington Square campus will be joined by members of NYU Abu Dhabi’s inaugural class of 2014 to perform original student compositions for a master class —despite being separated by some 7,000 miles. The performance is a highlight of the ResoNations Education Session, a component of the Innovation Talks Symposium III at United Nations Headquarters on Dec. 2 and 3.
NYU to Host Provincetown Playhouse Open House on Saturday, Dec. 11

New York University will host an open house at the newly refurbished Provincetown Playhouse, 133 MacDougal Street, on Sat., Dec. 11 from noon to 5 p.m. The public is invited to tour the historic theatre and enjoy light refreshments and live piano music, all free.
