New York University’s Jay Rosen and Clay Shirky will be featured in “Primary Sources,” a series of conversations at New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute (20 Cooper Square, between 5th and 6th Streets, 7th Floor), on December 3, 6-7 p.m. They will discuss the latest ideas in new media: what’s working, what’s dead, and where the medium is headed. Rosen is the author of the blog PressThink (www.pressthink.org) and a professor at Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute. Shirky, a social media expert, is an associate teacher at the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) in the Kanbar Institute of Film and Television.
