Rebecca Frezza & Big Truck, an eclectic, high-energy presentation of music and synchronized dance movement that will get little feet and big feet alike moving and grooving, will perform for one show only at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts at New York University. With Frezza “behind the wheel,” Big Truck features a seven-piece band to sing and dance with all morning, giving kids what kids want most: great music and fun, fun, fun! The program combines pop/rock, country, and jazz styles, a sprinkling of world music elements, and kid-friendly lyrics. Rebecca Frezza & Big Truck is the winner of more than 10 major children’s music awards and has been seen on PBS Kids and Noggin. (Perfect for ages 4 to 8.)
This show is one of Skirball’s Big Red Chair Family Series performances this season. The series includes fun and affordable multi-arts performances geared toward the entire family. Upcoming series shows include: Hot Peas ‘N Butter (March 28, $22); and Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny, presented by Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia (May 9, $22).
