194 RECORDINGS, the new record label for New York Universitys Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music at the Tisch School of the Arts, will host its first charity event to benefit the non-profit organization Notes for Peace on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Sullivan Hall in New York. The event will present four bands performing their own music. Three bands include students from the Recorded Music Department (REMU) and the other, BiLLLL$, includes a REMU faculty member, Guillermo Brown.

194 RECORDINGS will donate half the proceeds from the evening to Notes for Peace, whose mission is to bring Jewish and Arab youth together through music and art education initiatives in order to promote tolerance, understanding, and mutual respect.
