This unique collection of hand-painted photographs, produced in Paris in the late Nineteenth century, is on view for the first time in the United States. Mounted in their original frames, these images reveal the partnership of French painters and photographers at the beginning of a new art form.

This exhibition will be open from Tuesday, November 17, until Friday, December 18, 2009. The gallery is occasionally closed for university events. Please call to verify hours: 212-998-875.
