A schedule of events follows:

  • Fri., May 1, 12:30 - 2 p.m. PEN Garden Readings: As part of the PEN American World Voices Festival, writers Laila Lalami, Morten Ramsland, and Deutsches Haus Writer-in-Residence Peter Weber will read from their works. This lunchtime reading takes place under the trees in the beautiful courtyard of Deutsches Haus.
  • Fri, May 1, 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. Exhibition Opening: “Flower Power.” Photographs by Horst Josch (Dusseldorf, Germany). On view through May 29.
  • Tues., May 5, 7 p.m. Lecture: “Russia and Its Relations to the Transatlantic Partners: How to Press the Reset Button” by Karsten Voigt, DADD NYU Visiting Scholar, German Foreign Office.
  • Thurs., May 7, 6 p.m. Max Weber Lecture Series: “Power and Architecture Reloaded: The Construction of Capitals (II): Vienna” by Eve Blau, Harvard University. Note venue: NYU Center for European and Mediterranean Studies, Conference Room, 285 Mercer St., 7th fl.
