New York University’s Fales Library, the home of one of the nation’s largest and most prestigious archives in food studies, will host a panel discussion entitled “Emerging and Disappearing Immigrant Foodways” on Thursday, October 16, at 4 p.m. The event will take place at Fales, located on the third floor of NYU’s Bobst Library, 70 Washington Square South.   • Jennifer Berg, PhD, director, Graduate Program in Food Studies in NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development
  • Brian Halweil, editor of Edible East End, Brooklyn and Manhattan
  • Mark Federman, 3rd generation owner of Russ & Daughters
  • Anya Von Bremzen, award-winning food writer; author of The New Spanish Table and The Greatest Dishes!: Around the World in 80 Recipes, among other works

The discussion is moderated by Clark Wolf, founder of Clark Wolf Company, the food, restaurant, and hospitality consulting firm, and a co-sponsor of the event, along with NYU Steinhardt School’s Department of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health.
