New York University’s Max Weber Chair and Deutsches Haus will host “The U.S. Elections: Transatlantic Perspectives,” a roundtable discussion with European and American scholars, on Fri., Nov. 7, 2:30 to 5 p.m. (42 Washington Mews at University Pl., below 8th St.). The event is co-sponsored by Deutsches Haus and NYU’s Center for European and Mediterranean Studies.

Roundtable panelists include the following: Ariane Chebel d’Appollonia (Sciences Po Paris); James Goldgeier (George Washington University); Stephanie Hofmann (European University Institute, Florence); Marcia Pally (NYU); Simon Reich (University of Pittsburgh); Andrew Rutten (Stanford University); and Gregory Wawro (Columbia University). Michael Minkenberg, the Max Weber Chair for German and European Studies at NYU, will moderate the session.
