The conference, jointly sponsored by NYUs Center for Ancient Studies and the universitys Skirball Department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies, will consider the Dead Sea Scrolls from a range of scholarly perspectives. Speakers include the following: Matthew Santirocco, dean of NYUs College of Arts and Science and director of the Center for Ancient Studies; Lawrence Schiffman, chair of NYUs Hebrew and Judaic Studies Department; Yeshiva University Professor Moshe Bernstein; and Shani Tzoref, research associate, Sydney University.
