Poets Rachel Zucker, Kimiko Hahn, and Timothy Donnelly will be featured in a new series co-hosted by the New York University Creative Writing Program and the Poetry Society of America. Entitled “The New Salon: Poets in Conversation,” the series features poets reading from their work and engaging in lively and intimate conversation about their craft. The salons are free and open to the public and take place at NYU’s Lillian Vernon Creative Writers House, located at 58 W. 10th Street.   • On Thursday, February 28, at 7 p.m., Rachel Zucker, author of The Last Clear Narrrative, Eating in the Underworld, and The Bad Wife Handbook will be in conversation with Deborah Landau, director of the NYU Creative Writing Program and author of the poetry collection, Orchidelirium.
  • On Thursday, March 27, at 7 p.m., Kimiko Hahn, who has authored seven collections of poems, most recently The Narrow Road to the Interior, and is a visiting writer at NYU, will be in conversation with Alice Quinn, executive director of the Poetry Society of America.
  • On Thursday, May 1, at 7 p.m., Timothy Donnelley, author of Twenty-seven Props for a Production of Eine Lebenszeit and poetry editor of Boston Review, will talk with Robert N. Casper, programs director of the Poetry Society of America and publisher of the literary journal jubilat.
