  • Saturday, April 19, 2008 “Off the Grid 2008: Earth Week Kickoff Concert” 1:00-7:00 PM An outdoor music festival run “off-the-grid” with bio-diesel energy! Join us for a day of great music, fun, educational exhibitions and giveaways. Free and open to the public. Held at Solar One - 23rd Street and the East River.   • Sunday, April 20, 2008 “Boating n’ Breakfast” 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM It’s spring! Head up to Central Park Lake to cruise around in a row boat, chew on bagels, and listen to chirping birds and splashing paddles. Meet on the island triangle at Astor Place at 10:30 AM to take the 6 uptown. $10 per hour, split among your shipmates.
  • Monday, April 21, 2008 “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: You & NYU” 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM What can really be recycled? Have this and other questions answered as NYU Sustainable Resources Manager Dianne Anderson and NYU Recycling Coordinator Sarah Boll discuss how issues of recycling, water resources, and sustainable living are being addressed at the University.
