The Office of International Programs at New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service will sponsor a discussion on Tuesday, September 11, 2007, on the topic “Where We Stand: 6 Years after the 9/11 Attacks.” The session, led by NYU Wagner Professor John Gershman and Gideon Rose, managing editor of Foreign Affairs magazine, will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Wagner School, The Puck Building, 2nd Floor, The Rudin Family Forum for Civic Dialogue, 295 Lafayette Street (at Houston Street), Manhattan. Admission is free.
Six years after the September 11 attacks, the United States is still feeling their impact and deciding how best to deal with the consequences. In this anniversary discussion, the current state and direction of U.S. policy towards terrorism will be assessed. Topics to be covered include human rights, and legal, military, and foreign policy issues
