Terry Fulmer, Dean of NYU College of Nursing, Named to Skidmore College Board of Trustees

Terry Fulmer, PhD, RN, FAAN, the Erline Perkins McGriff Professor and Dean of the College of Nursing at New York University, has been appointed as a Trustee of Skidmore College. She was named during summer 2007 to the 35-member board, which guides this prestigious liberal arts college in Saratoga Springs, New York, from which Dr. Fulmer received her bachelor’s degree in 1976.
NEA Grant Supports Preservation of NYU Fales Library’s Multimedia Downtown Collection

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has awarded a grant to the New York University Division of Libraries to help preserve, catalog, and make accessible rare dance and performance related audio, video, and film elements from the Fales Library s Downtown Collection. The media to be preserved are from The Judson Memorial Church Archive and the papers of artists John Watts and Laura Foreman.

Mary Schmidt Campbell, dean of New York University s Tisch School of the Arts, who was nominated in June by Gov. Eliot Spitzer to head the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), has been confirmed as chair of the NYSCA by the New York State Senate. Campbell will continue to serve as dean of the Tisch School.
