NEW YORK May 29, 2007- Preliminary figures indicate that the 2007 New York University International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference will set another annual attendance record. The event will be held on June 3-5 at the New York Marriott Marquis Times Square Hotel.
According to Dr. Lalia Rach, Divisional Dean of the Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management at NYU, registration numbers are a robust 125% of last year. “Attendance has grown every year since the conference began but we’ve seen a striking increase in demand this year, said Dr. Rach. “One explanation may be the attractiveness of the industry to equity and distribution capital, while another reason may be the quality and renown of speakers that we’ve been able to attract. Attendees recognize this is the premier networking event of the year.”
Online registration for the conference is now closed, and on-site registration opportunities are on a space available basis - with no guarantee of walk-in availability.
Featured 2007 speakers include Martha Stewart, Founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. and Emeril Lagasse, Chef and Proprietor, Emeril’s Restaurants.
