- WHAT: “Mergers and Acquisitions” is the theme of the 12th Annual REIT Symposium, sponsored by the New York University Real Estate Institute and the NYU REIT Center.
This yearly conference attracts leading practitioners from the worlds of banking, finance, law and real estate to discuss issues and trends affecting real estate investment trusts (REITs) both in the United States and globally.
Among the highlights this year are panel discussions on the state of the industry, public-to-private deals, strategies for buy and sell-side execution, an investor roundtable discussion, the evolution of the REIT model, and the competitive landscape between public REITs and PE players.
- WHO: Samuel Zell, chairman of Equity Group Investments, LLC, will deliver the keynote address.
