New York University’s Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy will host Jonathan Fanton, president of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, for a major policy address on affordable housing, including the announcement that the foundation will invest $25 million in new research to build and deepen knowledge about the ways that housing affects children, families, and communities. The event will take place on Mon., Feb. 12, 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at NYU School of Law’s Tishman Auditorium, 40 Washington Square South (between Sullivan and MacDougal Sts.).

The panel will be moderated by Ingrid Gould Ellen, associate professor of public policy and urban planning at NYU’s Robert F.
