President Papadopoulos to Speak on Regional and Strategic Politics

  • WHAT: President Tassos Papadopoulos of the Republic of Cyprus will speak at NYU to an audience of students, faculty, staff, and New Yorkers about regional politics and his country’s strategic relationship with the US, EU membership, and Cyprus’ key role in evacuating Westerners during the recent hostilities in Lebanon. He will be welcomed by NYU President John Sexton, NYU President Emeritus John Brademas, and Shep Forman, director of NYU’s Center on International Cooperation.

  • President Papadopoulos’ remarks will be followed by a brief Q&A session with the audience.
