New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) McGhee Division’s Digital Communications + Media (DCoM) presents CrossRoads: “GAMES + ANIMATION,” Monday, September 25, 2006, from 6-8pm., NYU Kimmel Center for Student Life, room 905, 60 Washington Square South. CrossRoads, a panel series, examines topics in digital arts, ndustry, and theory.
In “GAMES + ANNIMATION,” two panelists from a high-end commercial and broadcast animation house and the largest New York City game studio will present one of their projects in a step-by-step walk-through to compare concept development and production workflow. This is an excellent opportunity to understand large-scale media productions and to get an inside view of two NYC studios. An open Q&A will follow the panel; refreshments will be served.
