Jorge Castañeda, a Distinguished Global Professor of Politics and Latin American and Caribbean Studies at New York University and former foreign minister of Mexico, and Hernando de Soto, president of the Institute for Liberty and Democracy, will speak at NYU on Fri., Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. in NYU’s Shorin Performance Studio, Room 802 (8th Floor), in the Kimmel Center for University Life (60 Washington Square South [betw. Thompson St. and LaGuardia Pl.]). The event will be in English. The dialogue is part of NYU’s “Voices of Latin American Leaders,” a series of in-depth discussions with prominent Latin Americans on issues facing the Americas and the world that began in 2003.
