WHAT: The School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) at New York University offers a new fall course, “Fundraising for Religious Leaders”, for clerical leaders who want to learn how to develop their institution’s case for fundraising and motivate volunteers to overcome fears about soliciting funds.
This course will teach participants how to maximize fundraising potential by studying and applying the basic concepts of prospect research, identification, cultivation and solicitation in a religious setting.
WHO: Religious leaders will have the opportunity to take part in an informative and practical course that teaches effective fundraising techniques through lectures and discussions, role-playing and person-to-person solicitation.
The course is offered through The George H. Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising at NYU.
