Senator Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, senator for the province of Buenos Aires and a presidential candidate in the upcoming Argentine elections, will discuss transitional justice with Judge Baltasar Garzón, judge of the Spanish “Audiencia Nacional” (High Criminal Court), in the annual Emilio Mignone Lecture on Transitional Justice on Mon., Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. at New York University’s School of Law (Tishman Auditorium in Vanderbilt Hall, 40 Washington Square South, between MacDougal and Sullivan Sts.).

Juan E. Méndez, president of the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ), will moderate the dialogue between Senator Kirchner and Judge Garzón in this year’s lecture.

The Emilio Mignone Lecture on Transitional Justice is sponsored by NYU’s School of Law, its Center for Human Rights and Global Justice, and the ICTJ.
