Jonathan Morduch, professor of public policy and economics at New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, is available to speak with reporters about Muhammad Yunus, the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for his seminal work advancing micro-loans for the world’s poor.

NYU Wagner Prof. Morduch is the co-author of “The Economics of Microfinance” (MIT Press, 2005). He is a member of the recently formed United Nations Advisors Group on Inclusive Financial Sectors. The Advisors Group was created to provide advice and guidance to the UN in finding ways to expand access to basic financial services, and it consists of 25 global financial experts from governments, central banks, regulatory agencies, microfinance institutions, the private sector, civil society, development agencies, and academia.
