New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education will host “Response to Intervention: What, Why, and How Valid is It?” on Fri., Nov. 17,8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at NYU’s Lipton Hall, located in D’ Agostino Hall (108 W. Third St., betw. Macdougal and Sullivan Sts.).

Response to Intervention is an alternative approach to identify children with learning disabilities by encouraging earlier intervention and employing a comprehensive approach by using teachers, psychologists, and other professionals.
