In celebration of the Dalia Carmel Collection, just donated to New York University’s Fales Collection by Ms. Carmel, a panel discussion entitled “What’s with All of Those Books on Food? The Current Explosion of Relevant Writings” will take place on Tuesday, December 12, at 4 p.m. in NYU’s Bobst Library, 3rd floor (Fales), 70 Washington Square South. Fales is home to one of the largest and most prestigious food studies archives in the United States.
The event is free for those with an NYU I.D.; for the public, a $10 donation is suggested. Reservations are required; call 212.992.9018. The event is co-sponsored by the Steinhardt School’s Department of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health.
