The seismic re-alignment of political power in both chambers of Congress resulting from the recent mid-term elections will be the focus of an Election 2006 discussion forum at New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service on Tuesday, November 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Open to the public, the event will feature: Robert Shrum, a seasoned consultant to Democratic national political campaigns and Senior Fellow at NYU Wagner; Kieran Mahoney, a prominent Republican in New York and Managing Partner at Mercury Public Affairs; and Rogan Kersh, Associate Professor of Public Service and Associate Dean at NYU Wagner. Panelists will offer their distinct perspectives on U.S. domestic and foreign policy, from Social Security to Iraq, health care to global warming.
