New York University’s Remarque Institute will host, “What Happens Now? Israel and the Palestinians after Gaza, Sharon, and Hamas,” on Thurs., March 9, 8 p.m., at NYU’s Kimmel Center for University Life (60 Washington Square South, Rosenthal Pavilion, 10th Floor). The discussion will include: Gidon Levy, an editorialist for Ha’aretz; columnist and author Christopher Hitchens; and Elias Khouri, Global Distinguished Professor of Middle Eastern Studies at NYU. The event will be moderated by Tony Judt, director of the Remarque Institute and author of Postwar: A History of Europe Since 1945.
