A series of poetry readings will take place during the spring semester at New York University’s King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center (located at 53 Washington Square South). Friday, Feb. 10, 6:15 p.m. The Center celebrates the publication of Marta López- Luaces’ new collection, Las lenguas del viajero, which will be introduced by Vassar College Professor Isolina Ballesteros. Also, Catalan poet Marta Pessarodona will read from her most recent books of poetry, Berlin Suite and El amor a Barcelona.
Friday, Mar. 24, 6:15 p.m. Puerto Rican poet David Cortés Cabán will read selections from his book Ritual de Pájaros: Antología Personal 1981-2002 (Mérida, Venezuela 2004).
Friday, Apr. 21, 6:15 p.m. Poetry performance by Argentine poet and editor Reynaldo Jiménez, author of The Curve of the Echo and several other collections of poetry. He will be introduced by Lila Zemborain.
