An exhibition of paintings and sculptures by the renowned Italian artist Carlo Guarienti will be on display at New York University’s Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò, located at 24 W. 12th Street, beginning May 5 and running through May 30. Guarienti has been at the forefront of the Italian artistic world for the past 50 years. His works have spanned from the figurative to the abstract and ultimately overcame the distinction between the two, achieving a personal and original style. In this exhibition paintings in a variety of techniques as well as several sculptures that document his mastery of shapes and colors will be shown.
