New York University’s King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center will host a dialogue, “Spain, Latin America, the United States, and the Communications Media,” on Mon., Sept. 26, 6-8 p.m., at NYU’s Silver Center for Arts and Science (Hemmerdinger Hall, 100 Washington Square East). The panel includes Juan Luís Cebrián, CEO of Spain’s Prisa Media Group Spain; Susan Chira, foreign editor at the New York Times; Leopoldo Gómez of Mexico’s Grupo Televisa; Carmen Caffarel, director general of Spain’s RTVE; and Chris Crommett, a senior vice president at CNN. The dialogue will be moderated by Spanish Judge Baltasar Garzón, who specializes on investigations on terrorism, crimes against humanity and international organized crime.
The event will be in Spanish and English with simultaneous English translation.
