New York University’s Center on Law and Security will host “Al Qaeda Now: The Media and the War on Terror,” on Wed., Sept. 28, 6-8 p.m. at NYU’s Greenberg Lounge, Vanderbilt Hall, 40 Washington Square South. The panel will address such questions as: Who joins al Qaeda? What is al Qaeda’s media strategy? Have the recent events in London and Egypt changed or reinforced our perceptions of al Qaeda? Is al Qaeda on the wane or on the rise?
