NOTE TO PLANNING AND ASSIGNMENT EDITORS
The parade provides very good, cute, daylight shots of kids in costumes parading around the park accompanied by parents. Good complement for coverage of the adult parade.
NYU students will perform for the kids - including NYU music groups, cheerleaders, and dance teams - and assist with distributing treats.
The parade is organized and conducted in cooperation with the the Village Alliance and NoHo NY Business Improvement Districts, Scholastic, Kinko’s, Associated Supermarket, Washington Square Association, McDonald’s of Broadway, UPS, the Washington Square Park Council, & the Greenwich Village Chelsea Chamber of Commerce.
