New York University will host “Unveiling Secrets of the Brain” on Mon. Oct. 31, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at NYU’s Kimmel Center for University Life (60 Washington Sq. South [at LaGuardia Pl.], room 914). The event, co-sponsored with Israel’s Weizmann Institute of Science, will include presentations by NYU Professor David Heegar (“Brain Imaging: A New Window into the Human Mind”), Weizmann Professor Rafael Malach (“Watching Brains, Watching Movies”), NYU Professor Joseph LeDoux (“The Emotional Brain: Friend and Foe”), and Weizmann Professor Yadin Dudai (“The Hidden Life of Memories”).
