Deutsches Haus at New York University, located at 42 Washington Mews (at University Place), will host three special events in December. On Friday, December 2, at 7 p.m., Deutshes Haus writer-in-residence Paul Brodowsky will read from his work. He will read in both English and German.
On Saturday, December 3, at 7 p.m., the exhibition “Jewish Youth in Germany 2005” will open. This exhibition is presented by The Hochschule Konstanz and Deutsches Haus. It will run through January 28, 2006.
On Tuesday, December 6, at 7 p.m., the Deutsches Haus Concert Series will present “From Bach to Messiaen: Chamber Music for Christmas” with Birgit Gruetzner on piano and Andreas Greger on cello. This event takes place in NYU’s Kimmel Center, Rosenthal Pavilion, 60 Washington Square South. The suggested donation is $5 per person.
