Eighty Washington Square East Galleries will open its fall group exhibition of master’s students’ thesis projects with a reception on Nov. 8, 6-8 p.m. The exhibition, which includes work by students in the Steinhardt School of Education’s Department of Art and Art Professions’ Studio Art Program, runs from Nov. 9 through Dec. 9.
Eighty Washington Square East Galleries will open its fall group exhibition of master’s students’ thesis projects with a reception on Nov. 8, 6-8 p.m. (80 Washington Square East, betw. Washington Place and W. 4th St.). The exhibition, which includes work by students in the Steinhardt School of Education’s Department of Art and Art Professions’ Studio Art Program, runs from Nov. 9 through Dec. 9.
The works in this exhibition include the following: Joanna HR Foster’s “Intimate Place: My Body to Another” (site-related photo installation chronicling social interaction); Kwong Yin Brian Hung’s “Man, Woman, Man” (photographic triptych inspired by Chinese calligraphy); and Don Penny’s “Black Light/White Light: +-” (digitally captured objects surrounded by color).
