New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education will host “Reducing Class Size: Does it Matter? Can it Be Done?” on Fri., Dec. 9, 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at NYU’s Greenberg Lounge in Vanderbilt Hall (40 Washington Square South [betw. Sullivan and MacDougal Streets]). The panel will include the following: Charles Achilles, a professor at Eastern Michigan and Seton Hall universities and the author of Finally: Getting Class Size Right; Noreen Connell, executive director of the Educational Priorities Panel; and Leonie Haimson, founder of Class Size Matters, a parent advocacy group.
