Black Renaissance Noire, produced by New York University’s Institute of African-American Affairs, celebrates its 10th anniversary on Fri., Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m. at its new address, 41 East 11th Street, 7th Floor.

Attendees will include Quincy Troupe, editor of Black Renaissance Noire; John Edgar Wideman, author and two-time winner of the Pen Faulkner Award; author and poet Patricia Spears Jones; Queens College (CUNY) Professor Jeffrey Renard Allen; and author Meena Alexander, author and winner of the 2002 PEN Open Book Award for Illiterate Heart.
