New York University President John Sexton today announced that he will make a series of visits to NYU residence halls to talk with students. Four interactive “Town Hall”-type meetings will be held between October and March in various residence halls.

The residence hall visits will enable him to discuss his vision for the future of the University, engage students in a dialogue about NYU, and elicit direct feedback from them on a wide range of topics relating to the University and student life here.

The scheduled times and locations of the meetings are:

  • Weinstein Residence Hall, Thursday, October 10th, 2002, 7:00 pm
  • Palladium Residence Hall, Thursday, January 23rd, 2002, 9:00 pm
  • Rubin Residence Hall, Wednesday, February 26th, 2002, 9:00 pm
  • University Residence Hall, Thursday, April 3rd, 2002, 9:00 pm

Each meeting is open to all students. Students will be accommodated on a first-come-first-serve basis, and space will be limited. Students will be required to show student ID’s to attend.
